New painting: The Spark That Shakes

This was a secret painting I worked on the past month, and this is why. In April, I had a seizure triggered from a bout of covid. I was taken by ambulance to the ER and stayed in the hospital for a couple days. I've never had seizures before and this came out of the blue. While in the hospital, I had all kinds of tests including, MRI, CT scan, EKG, EEG, blood tests, and everything was clear. So, why not make a painting about it to process what happened?

This painting explores what happens when a seizure occurs. It shows the moment when signals in the brain misfire, setting off a chain reaction that takes over the body. Neurons spark, limbs convulse, and everything slips out of sync as you lose consciousness. It's about that sudden loss of control — when the body moves without permission, and the brain turns into a storm of electrical activity.
